Made-to-Measure Oak Table Tops & Worktops

These panels are ideal for table tops, worktops, shelving, furniture making and a wide range of joinery projects. Each panel is produced in our workshop, we select boards to match up the grain and really show off the figuring of the quarter sawn oak. Once matched up we carefully joint the board across our planer ensuring a perfect joint is achieved. We then apply a D3 grade PVA glue to the joint and clamp the tops up tight while leaving the glue to dry. We can then sand to a finished grit ready for you to apply an oil or varnish.

Unlike imported mass-produced panels, our oak panels are made from genuine English Oak, allowing us to retain the character and variation that make solid timber such a rewarding material to work with. Natural features such as knots, colour variation and grain figure are to be expected and help give each panel its own unique appearance.

Panels can be produced in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to suit your project. Whether you require a small furniture panel, a cabinet top, a kitchen worktop, a desk top or a large dining table top, we can usually accommodate bespoke requirements.

We can also supply this in other timbers, such as American Black Walnut and Ash.
