At Quarter Sawn Oak, we provide reliable UK delivery for quarter sawn oak, oak boards, hardwood timber and custom-machined timber products. Whether you’re ordering a single board for a furniture project or a larger quantity for joinery work, we use trusted courier and specialist timber delivery services to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently.
Standard delivery can be organised throughout mainland UK, and collection from our Derbyshire workshop is available by prior arrangement. We can also happily organise delivery to Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland easily enough. But also further afield, we can send timber world wide.
Delivery Charges
We aim to keep our delivery pricing simple and transparent. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the size, weight and length of the products ordered.

Delivery Times
All timber is machined to order, processing times are usually 10-15 working days, but can be 20 days during busy periods.
Once dispatched, courier deliveries typically arrive within 1–2 working days. Larger timber orders and bespoke machined products may require additional processing time.
If you have a specific deadline, please contact us before placing your order and we’ll be happy to advise on current lead times.
How We Package Timber Orders
We understand that the quality and appearance of oak timber is important. All orders are carefully packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
Depending on the size of your order, timber may be wrapped, boxed or securely bundled to provide appropriate protection throughout the delivery process.
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us as soon as possible and we will work quickly to resolve the issue.
Collection from Our Derbyshire Workshop
Customers are welcome to collect orders directly from our workshop in Edale, Derbyshire by prior arrangement.
Collection can be a convenient option for larger orders or for customers located nearby. Please contact us before travelling so we can ensure your order is prepared and ready for collection.
Large and Long-Length Timber Deliveries
Some hardwood timber products exceed the size limits of standard courier services. For larger orders, long-length oak boards or bulk quantities, we use specialist timber carriers to ensure safe transportation.
