One of the services we offer is to mill entire trees to your specification, this works out to be quite a cost effective method of sourcing timber. We have a good selection of oak logs available all year around from which you can select your preferred one, we will then mill the log to your required sections, e.g. 1/2", 5/8", 1", 11/4", 11/2", 2", 2.5", 3", 4", these will all be Quartersawn, we find it best to cut a selection of 3-4 thicknesses as this gives a good quantity of each depending on the project you have in mind, the timber is then yours to collect, stick, and season yourself, this we recommend takes 1 year per inch plus a year and we can give you as much advice as…
