Leg sections such as these are an important part of most furniture projects, not just square sections but also tapered or turned legs and spindles. We hope these sizes are helpful to our customers.
Below are standardised sizes, from 1.5″ to 3″. Please order these in the shortest lengths possible, this makes it easier for us to supply you with a better quality as its easier to cut around knots etc. The finished sizes will be listed in the drop box as sizes are reduced when machined (i.e. ex2″ is 45mm)
We are able to offer wider pieces of these thicknesses, for more info please get in touch.
PAR (Planned All Round) is ideal if you don’t have access to planning machinery, if you require this machining to a different thickness then please add this to your cutting list notes.
If you have your own processing machinery, we offer these thickness waney edge please get in touch to discuss this. To calculate the price from waney edge, we consider waste factor, time to select the ideal piece out for your project, saw it to size and time to plane and thickness to your required dimensions.
MAX 3″ lengths are 800mm
Please select your required width, then enter your total length which can now be done to 0.1M, this will be your total cost, then supply us with your cutting list, a tight cutting list is most helpful when we are selecting out your pieces and we will always leave 5-15mm extra length for you to trim down to your exact size. If you require your pieces cut accurately to a knife mark please select our cutting service and add as many cuts as you require to cover each item on your cutting lists.
